Rain Date policy

In the event of rain, and if it has been raining up until 8:00 am on the morning of a KBB cleanup, the bushes and terrain will be too wet and muddy for a successful cleanup. In this case, the cleanup will be postponed to the scheduled “rain date” which is usually the following Saturday.

Walk the Walk

We are excited for you to participate in the 2012 Argus "Walk the Walk" event on Sunday 26th February 2012 starting at 8:30 am. This is a great opportunity to show your support for KEEP BERMUDA BEAUTIFUL by registering either as an individual or as a team. The entry fee is $25 per person and $20 goes directly to KBB, with the remaining $5 going to The Centre on Philanthropy's Volunteer.bm program.

There will be PRIZES given to the Largest Youth Team, the Most Spirit and the Largest Corporate Team.

Be sure to register EARLY. The first 700 registrants will get a free T-shirt.

Registration deadline is 4 pm on Friday, 24th February. But please don't wait. Mark your calendar now for Sunday 26th February and decide if you want to make this a family event or come as an individual (with a friend of course) or try to put together a winning team!

Follow this link to REGISTER at RacedayWorld.com and select the "Argus Walk the Walk" event http://www.racedayworld.com/register/ViewEvent/1339260

If it's your first time at RacedayWorld.com, no problem...you can create a new account. Then look for the Argus event and register for the event. You can also stop by The Centre on Philanthropy office on Wesley Street (next door to Argus) and REGISTER IN PERSON. Be sure to name KEEP BERMUDA BEAUTIFUL as the charity you want to support.

See you at the starting line on 26th February. I will be holding a KBB sign so look out for me so I can give you a KBB sticker for your shirt.

P.S. This event is a WALK not a road race so everyone is welcome to join in!
